Profile

I have been learning Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan since 2021 but have many years of experience working with the body, having started dance classes in ballet, jazz, musical theatre and street dance as a child and contemporary dance as a teenager.

I gained a degree in contemporary dance from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance in 2018 and have been the assistant director and co-owner of a children's creative dance and arts school in London since 2021 where I also teach contemporary dance, ballet, visual art, singing and musical theatre.

From a young age, I remember wanting to learn a martial art. Since learning Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan, I have enjoyed every lesson as it has taught me so much not just physically but also mentally and in life in general. Practicing Tai Chi has made me more patient and mindful, which has helped me develop calmness and centeredness in a fast-paced world with many attractions/distractions. It has also given me a deeper understanding of my body, and of the people and environment around me.

I am very grateful to be training as an instructor under Sifu Don Spargo and to be able to help others experience the many benefits of this practice.
