Archway Station is the nearest underground station. It is on the Northern Line - Mill Hill Branch .
In Archway Station at the top of the escalators turn RIGHT to exit onto junction road. Walk along Junction road for 300 metres or so until you reach the 'Crisis' charity shop. Turn right at this shop into Vorley road and follow the road up until you see a small, triangular shaped field. Cross at the zebra crossing and follow the brick path on the right hand side of this field to the top of the field. After about 150 metres you should see the entrance to the community centre on your right.

Upper Holloway on the Gospel Oak to Barking Riverside Branch is the nearest Overground station. When you come out of the station (either entrance) turn LEFT and walk UP the hill (about 250 metres) to Junction road (on your left) where you will see Archway Station diagonally left opposite you. Cross over Junction road road, past Archway station and walk along Junction road for about 250 metres or so until you reach the 'Crisis' charity shop. Turn right at this cafe into Vorley road and follow the road up until you see a small, triangular shaped field (Girdlestone park), cross at the zebra crossing and follow the path on the right hand side of this field to the top of the field. After about 150 metres you should see the entrance to the community centre on your right.

The area around Girdlestone spans two districts of London, Camden and Islington. They have different parking restrictions, so be careful where you park. Check the signs for details of the restrictions
Camden Council restrict parking between 10a.m. and 12p.m.(noon); Islington restrict parking between 8:00a.m. and 6:30p.m.
The dividing line between the two boroughs is Dartmouth Park Hill. Although Camden have less restrictive times parking on the roads is usually fully occupied with people visiting or working at the Whittington Hospital. The pressure on parking doesn't ease off until after 6pm usually.
